How to use Oral Dams?
- Make sure the product’s expiration date has not already passed.
- Carefully remove the oral dam from the package and unfold it.
- Place the barrier over the vulva or anus so that the entire area is covered. Do not stretch the barrier; instead, hold it gently taut.
- Hold the barrier in place during oral sex. You can apply a water– or silicone-based lubricant between the barrier and your skin. This helps keep the barrier in place and makes oral sex more enjoyable.
- Stop performing oral sex if the barrier tears. Throw the torn barrier in the trash and replace it with a new one.
- Dispose of the dental dam directly in the trash after use. Never flush it down the toilet.
