How to use?
- Check the packaging. Make sure the packaging is intact and the expiration date has not passed. Open the package carefully so as not to damage the condom with your fingernails or sharp objects.
- Find a comfortable position. You can insert the internal condom while sitting, lying down, or with one leg raised, for example. Try to find a position where you can relax and insert the condom comfortably.
- Insert the internal condom. Pinch the inner ring at the closed end of the condom between your fingers and insert it into the vagina as deeply as is comfortable. Then insert your finger into the condom and push the inner ring toward the cervix until the condom is positioned comfortably and straight. The outer ring of the condom must remain outside the vaginal opening.
- Check the position. Make sure the condom is not twisted and that the penis enters the condom, not beside it. The outer ring must remain outside throughout use.
- Use lubricant if needed. The condom is pre-lubricated, but can be used with all types of lubricants, including water-, silicone-, and oil-based ones. Apply lubricant to the inside of the condom or to the outer area if it feels dry or uncomfortable.
- During intercourse, check occasionally to ensure the condom is still in the correct position and that the penis remains inside the condom. If the condom slips out of place, breaks, or the penis slips out from under the condom, stop use and replace the condom with a new one.
- After use, remove the condom carefully. Twist or squeeze the outer ring to prevent semen from leaking, and slowly pull the condom out. Do not flush the used condom down the toilet – dispose of it in the regular trash.
Important to know: The internal condom is intended for single use only. Do not use an internal condom and a regular condom at the same time, as friction between them may increase the risk of breakage.
